Series 2: Places and Spaces
In
this series, Melynda von Wayward explores the concept of places and spaces and
how familiar environments, such as the suburbs that we live in,
shopfronts, tourist attractions, cityscapes, outdoor areas, and even shadows, can evoke a different meaning from the ones that we be might familiar
with.
Melynda intersperses her own photography with other
imagery, to create digital collage pieces that explore themes such as religion,
power, money, politics, beauty and the environment.
