Series 2: Places and Spaces
In 2024 and 2025, Melynda von Wayward continued her exploration and creation of digital collage art.
In this series, Melynda explores the concept of places and spaces and how familiar environments, such as the suburb that we live in, shopfronts, tourist sites, cityscapes, outdoor areas and even shadows can evoke a different meaning from the ones we are familiar with.
In this series Melynda intersperses her own photography with other imagery, while exploring themes such as religion, power, money, politics, beauty and the environment.
